Steps for Resetting Your Password
If you have reset your initial password and want to change your password, follow these instructions:
- Connect to the Spirit password reset site linked to from the main Spirit web page
- Enter your Spirit userid
- If you see: "User [your userid] has not defined enough questions."
- Then, contact the Spirit Help Desk at 316-526-HELP(4357).
- If you know your password, Select Use a password, otherwise, Select "Answer personal questions"
- If you selected to use a password, you will be prompted to enter your current password, after entering your password, select continue and go to step #6.
- Enter the answers to all 5 questions that you are asked and select Continue
- If desired, you can answer additional questions to enhance your password reset security that will be used in the future by selecting "Answer personal questions" from the menu.
- Use the "-Select a question-" menu, select a question from the list and enter the answer to that question in the answer box.
- Select "Submit changes".
- Repeat the above action for each question that you wish to add.
- When you have finished adding questions press the "MAIN" icon at the bottom of the screen to return to the previous menu.
- Select "Pick a new Password"
- Enter your new password in the New password field and re-enter it in the Confirm field: Then select "Change my password"
Use the following password rules to select your new password:
- Must be at least 14 characters long
- Must not contain your user name or any part of your full name
- Must use 4 of the following types - lowercase, uppercase, numbers, and symbols
