  Steps for Resetting Your Password

  1. Connect to the Spirit external portal 
  2. Enter your userid and password (Contact the Spirit Help Desk if you do not know your password)  
  3. if your password has expired, you will be redirected to the spirit password reset site. From that site:
     1. Select "Use a Password"
     2. Enter your Spirit password
     3. If this is your first time using the Spirit Password site do:
        • Select "Answer personal questions"
          1. Use the "-Select a question-" drop down menu, select a question from the list and enter the answer to that question in the answer box.
          2. Select "Submit changes"
          3. Repeat the above action for each question that you wish to add
          4. When you have finished adding questions press the "MAIN" icon at the bottom of the screen to return to the previous menu
     4. Select "Pick a new Password"
        1. Use the following password rules to select your new password:
           • Must be at least 14 characters long
           • Must not contain your user name or any part of your full name
           • Must use 4 of the following types - lowercase, uppercase, numbers, and symbols

        Group	Example
        Lowercase letters	a, b, c, ...
        Uppercase letters	A, B, C, ...
        Numerals	0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9
        Non-alphanumeric (symbols)	( ) ` ~ ! @ # $ % ^ & * - + = | \ { } [ ] : ; " ' < > , . ? /
        Unicode characters	€, ?, ƒ, and ?

     5. Enter your new password in the New password field and re-enter it in the Confirm field: Then select "Change my password"
     6. Select "Close this window"  You will now be able to login using your new password.
